I thought a lot about how to translate the title of this recipe, which I have from a booklet with Hungarian recipes .... and eventually I came to this name :))

  • 1 large onion
  • 1 carrot
  • 50 gr butter
  • 2 bay leaves
  • thyme
  • salt pepper
  • 300 gr minced meat
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1 canned small peas

For mashed potatoes:

  • 5-6 potatoes
  • 100 ml of warm milk
  • 100 gr butter
  • 2 yolks

Heat the butter and add the finely chopped onion, diced carrots, add the bay leaves and a little thyme. Let it fry for about 5-7 minutes. Add the minced meat, tomato paste, season with salt and pepper, add a little water and let it boil well until the water decreases. When it becomes the consistency of a sauce, add the peas and leave it on the fire for about 5 minutes.

Meanwhile, prepare the puree using the above ingredients.
