Pomegranate Sushi


Sushi rice

Cooking rice: take a rice variety suitable for sushi and boil (250 ml of water per 100 g of rice). Cool down. Mix rice vinegar, salt and sugar. Pour the mixture into rice, mix gently. For omelet: beat eggs well with starch, soy sauce, mirin, water. Fry thin omelet pancakes in a pan (it is better to use a pan with non-stick coating). I got 3 pancakes, the diameter of the pan is 28 cm. We cut out circles (mine with a diameter of 7.5 cm) from an omelette pancake - it turns out 5 (you can make 6) circles. We cut each sheet of nori into 4 parts. We spread nori on a piece of plastic film - it will help to form sushi. On a piece of nori we put an omelette circle. With wet hands, we form a ball of prepared rice and place it on the center of the omelet. Wet the nori edges with water and vinegar and collect the ball. We give the final shape with the help of the film. After some time, we free our sushi from the film, lay them seam down. From above we make a cross-shaped incision through the layers of nori and omelet, bend them, put caviar on rice. Put on a plate with ginger and wasabi, serve with soy sauce. Enjoy your meal!
