Step 1.

We cut the chicken into thin layers and lightly beat the meat with a wooden hammer. Put a layer of chicken on a plate and sprinkle with half the spices: dry garlic, zira, coriander, turmeric, paprika, salt and sprinkle 1 tbsp. a spoonful of vegetable oil. Then spread the second layer of chicken and sprinkle with spices and sprinkle with vegetable oil. Leave the chicken to marinate for 30 minutes.

We heat the grill pan and fry the marinated layers of chicken over medium heat on each side for 3 minutes until cooked. Cut the chicken into strips.

Step 4

If the pita bread is large, cut it into 2 parts. We spread the filling on the pita, departing from the edges of the pita, the bottom indent should be greater. Spread 2 tbsp. tablespoons of garlic sauce and distribute the filling in the shape of a rectangle. On top, put a layer of cabbage with carrots 1-2 tbsp. tablespoons, pour 1-2 teaspoons of garlic sauce. Add a layer of chicken on top, then cucumbers, tomatoes and onions, and again, 1-2 teaspoons of garlic sauce.

Step 5

Firmly turn off the tube from the side of the filling, make two turns, bend the edges and turn to the end of the pita bread.

Step 6

In a heated frying pan, fry pita for 1 minute on each side. Shawarma is ready. Enjoy your meal!
